General
While you're most likely to know them for their pro-level, feature-packed interfaces, software synths and keyboards, here, Arturia introduce the MiniFuse 1: a fuss-free, bus-powered audio interface that offers fantastic audio quality. Hook it up to your computer using the included USB cable and you're practically ready to record studio-grade vocal takes and instrument recordings. The clean, intuitive control lay-out includes a large monitor control, a mix control, headphone volume level control, and a gain control for adjusting the volume of any connected microphones. In addition, Arturia have built in a phantom power supply, an ever-useful LED clipping indicator, and a loopback function that gives you an extra set-up option for streaming. Last but not least and like most of its counterparts, the MiniFuse 1 comes complete with an extensive software pack to help you off to a flying start producing beats and soundtracks.

Heb deze interface gekocht vanwege goede recensies en vanwege de loopback functionaliteit. Ideaal voor livestreamen: de jingles kun je gewoon afspelen op de computer en ze komen via de loopback in de livestream terecht.
In eerste instantie wilde de loopback echter niet werken. De oplossing bleek een update van de firmware van versie 1.0.4 (werd ie mee uitgeleverd) naar v1.0.5. Daarna werd het loopback device zichtbaar in zowel Windows als recentere Linuxen. Helemaal super. Ben er erg tevreden mee.
